Abstract
This submission concentrates on two specific subject areas – those of coastal areas in the Northern and Western Region and how coastal areas need to adapt to our changing climate change. Specifically, the submission focuses on how climate change will affect the coastal zone of the Northern and Western Region, the requirement to plan for climate change, what measures are needed to enable the coastline to adapt and how these climate adaptation measures can be implemented.
