Abstract
This submission to the draft National Marine Planning Framework focusses on a number of areas that are relevant to the future planning of our marine and coastal areas. They include: Offshore Renewable Energy, the Marine Planning Hierarchy (at National, Regional and County level), Marine (and Coastal) Planning at Regional and County Level, Data Requirements for Plan Preparation, the integration of Marine Planning and Consent into the Land Use Planning & Management System and the Preferred Timeframe.
