Submission to National Development Plan Review (2021)

This submission to the National Development Plan review focuses on a range of different themes and issues the include; the need for alignment between the NDP and the NPF, the emphasis on climate change mitigation and the weaker coverage given to climate change adaptation and the absence of funding for the Climate Adaptation measures proposed in the National Adaptation Framework. In addition, the potential of the NDP in Delivering Nature Based Solutions for climate change adaption purposes, realising compact growth (in urban areas) and the need to support for the All Island Research & Biodiversity Research Network (AIRBRN) are also covered.
