Abstract

Considering H2S as an asymmetric rigid top in ground electronic quantum state with non-vibrating atoms, it is estimated the pure rotational energy levels. On the basis of symmetry selection rules for an asymmetric top with its two-fold axis lying on the direction corresponding to the intermediate moment of inertia, it is listed the permitted transition that could appear in far infrared and in microwaves spectral domains.
