N2 - The influence of the return of vintage aesthetics in streetwear design on the 15–25-year-old population is the main subject of this study. The research explores the origins of streetwear historically, following its development from underground subcultures to mainstream fashion. Examined as a cultural trend, the blending of nostalgia with contemporary design aspects captures the general need for comfort in the ever-changing world of fashion. The psychology of nostalgia’s appeal to today’s youth is examined, highlighting the cultural and emotional foundations fuelling retro-styled fashions’ resurgence. A survey of the literature on the relationship between streetwear, graphic design trends, and the impact of social media and technological culture is incorporated into the research. Insights into the existing environment are obtained via analysis of market patterns and projections. The knitwear Capital of India, Tirupur, is the site of primary research that includes interviews with specialists in the field as well as surveys of the target population. The results provide insight into consumer purchase patterns, brand inclinations, and the revival of trend awareness. The study also examines streetwear’s historical foundations, development, and effects on self-expression and cultural resonance. Recent scholarly discourse analyses the impact of digital culture and social media, particularly the function of platforms like Instagram and TikTok, on the retro revival trend. An overview of present and future trajectories is provided by reviewing market trends and projections. The study also explores success stories and brand strategies, concentrating on case studies like Adidas, Supreme, and Off-White. To guarantee a full grasp of the issue, the technique employs a thorough approach that includes primary research, market assessments, and literature studies. Key findings from the surveys and interviews are included in the results and discussions, which provide insights into market dynamics, brand strategy, and consumer motivations. The study’s summary of its findings, recommendations for future research, and implications for experts in the field highlight the dynamic interplay between streetwear, nostalgia, and graphic design in the formation of modern fashion culture.
