Reservoir

Reservoir (2010) was published by Gall Editions as a reader to Temperance. It was co-authored by and Peter Maybury and Tom dePaor and restages or enacts some of the conversations through which Temperance came about, presenting images and pages from books, held open and photographed, and a brief description of the object including documentary photographs of its fabrication, its siting, and the work photographed in-situ from multiple perspectives on the day of its installation. These are followed by detail photographs showing the initial effects of oxidation and water ponding. A short text by the museum curator is presented in calligrammatic form.
