Abstract
This article promotes an egalitarian perspective on social care education and practice. The purpose of this article is to illustrate to social care educators the practicality and adaptability of an interdisciplinary equality framework for teaching social care students about the dimensions, multiplicity, and complexity of inequality. This article pays particular attention to the interconnection between ethnicity and social care within Irish society, but resonates with other European systems.
