    Abstract

The advent of Artificial Intelligence has brought about a transformation in the Design industry. One such specific area where AI is being used rapidly is in the field of Conversational User Experience (UX) owing to its ability to be integrated with AI-based Chat/Voice bots. Therefore, using such a platform in the public school sector could bring a change in improving the quality of education, simplifying the teaching process, and optimising available resources. With this objective in mind, problem areas in the teaching domain were explored and studied closely through field visits and interviews. A critical challenge identified was Government school teachers encountering issues in resolving their doubts concerning government-curated lesson plans. This can potentially result in confusion among educators and the dissemination of misinformation, impacting students’ learning experiences. To address this issue, a cloud-based AI Chat and Voice Bot named ‘Vidya’ was proposed. ‘Vidya’ is expected to be a step towards revolutionising the teaching and learning process in Government Schools in India, leading to enhanced educational outcomes, and empowered teachers and students. Overall, the ripple effects of improved quality of education translate into a more skilled, productive, and prosperous society, ultimately contributing to long-term economic development and competitiveness on both global and national scales.
