Abstract

Nutritional deficits in women of reproductive age (and their partners) are widespread. As this chapter makes clear, the spectrum of malnutrition at this time in the life course is wide, and extends from undernutrition to the overnutrition, i.e. the excessive consumption of poor quality processed foods.
