Abstract

This chapter describes the major nutrition-related issues of current public health concern in Ireland. Specifically, we discuss concerns related to maternal obesity, gestational weight gain, gestational diabetes, folate, vitamin D, iron, long-chain polyunsaturated acids, and alcohol use.
