Abstract
This article discusses the problem of idiomaticity in Bernard Stiegler’s philosophy, showing the connection between the emergence of “idiomatic difference” and what became known as anti-entropy in his late works. In turn, the conditions under which such difference is possible are closely related to the problem of locality. The article shows how idiom can emerge in the localized conditions of a linguistic community, and why it can be considered a key concept in the possibility of developing Stiegler’s project of neganthropology.
