    Abstract

In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on integrating technology into medical education in India, majorly through online platforms, virtual simulations, and augmented reality. The AR/VR healthcare market surpassed USD 2 billion in 2022, showing a trend towards advanced medical technologies. However, rural areas face challenges due to limited resources, creating a gap in the quality of education compared to urban centres. It is difficult to train students in rural areas as many medical colleges and hospitals are in urban areas. This paper proposes an app that facilitates immersive learning and allows users to explore 3D models of human anatomy through AR interaction that can rotated, zoomed in and examined from different angles. It helps to understand the concepts of various systems and structures of the body and allows users to connect with other people and medical education resources. In medical education, the benefits of using augmented reality include visualising complex concepts, designing clinical trials and providing instant information. This app offers a safe and engaging platform for students, healthcare professionals and patients to learn and practice medical concepts and procedures.
