Abstract
The present industry update covers the period 1-31 March 2015, with information sourced from mainly company press releases, regulatory and patent agencies. In a transaction that has been valued at over US$70 billion Actavis has announced it completed the acquisition of Allergan. A number of companies including Columbia Labs, Biohaven and Oxis have announced collaborations/licensing deals in the area of drug delivery technologies. March also saw the announcements from a number of companies including Delcath, Novan and Flamel, of positive clinical trial data for products utilizing different therapeutic delivery options.
