Abstract

In this article, I examine selected aspects of a recent proposal by the Department of Justice, Quality and Law Reform, the Scheme for an Immigration Residence and
Protection Bill to demonstrate how Ireland is continuing to move from a 'racial state' to 'racist state' (Lentin, 2004).
