Abstract

The battle for employability impacts higher education institutions due to the evolving demands of the labour market. The fast development of powerful technologies creates major disruptions, increases global competition, and heightens international conflict and global economic fragmentation, significantly impacting engineering education through the required skills and competencies to respond to industry needs.
