N2 - This paper discusses the development of a new pedagogical training program for engineering educators, created by the ENTER Network and co-funded by the EU. The program consists of modules that include courses designed to develop specific competencies. The selection of courses and competencies was based on surveys conducted with various stakeholders, including engineering educators, HEI administration, HEI engineering students, potential employers of HEI engineering graduates, and representatives of governmental bodies involved in education. The paper focuses on the relevance and origin of competencies addressed in the Sustainable Development Course, and presents the syllabus for this course, including information on its objectives, content, teaching materials, structure, and assessment procedures.
