A microstrip-fed printed crossed dipole for wireless applications

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A crossed-dipole antenna with good directivity and good isolation between ports over a wide impedance bandwidth is presented. This antenna offers polarization diversity and employs an optimized shape for the dipole wing, which yields the wide bandwidth. A quarter-wave balun is used for matching and improved isolation. Patterns are also presented.
