Project Details
Description
The SPEAR project is a collaborative initiative developed with an entrepreneurial partner. Its objective is to reduce the costs of purchasing goods and services when complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs) were not economically viable.
SPEAR achieves this goal by automating the discovery of suppliers and quotations for business-to-business (B2B) buyers, helping prevent losses due to manual searches. The platform automates the sourcing and validation of prices by channeling buyers' needs through a cloud-based index of supply options, mediated by an artificial intelligence interface utilizing natural language processing.
This language-centered interface enables buyers to source quotations, challenge existing suppliers, discover alternatives, and validate purchasing decisions.
The project is funded by Enterprise Ireland.
