Description
The project developed innovative easy-cleaning coatings aimed at enhancing the fabrication processes of pharmaceutical companies in Ireland. This initiative proposed a new, industrially viable solution for the Irish pharmaceutical sector.
The project involved three partners:
- CREST developed the easy-cleaning coatings.
- PMTC (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology Centre) tested the cleaning ability of the newly developed coatings.
- PRODIECO, an Irish pharmaceutical company, validated the cleaning performance of the coatings and implemented the technology in an industrial setting.
