Description

The Enterprise Ireland KT Boost Programme is a four-year initiative focused on enhancing Innovation Offices at Irish universities and technological universities. This program aims to support the commercialisation of research in Higher Education Institutions across Ireland.

**Key Objectives:**

- Develop new skills and provide training within Innovation Offices to enhance research commercialisation.

- Support the consistent operational quality across university and Technological University sectors.

- Increase knowledge transfer outcomes through improved infrastructure and resources.

Funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund, the KT Boost Programme strengthens the Knowledge Transfer System by focusing on:

- Knowledge and technology transfer activities, including intellectual property management and licensing.

- Creation of spin-offs from research projects.

**Expected Outcomes:**

- Accelerated emergence of High Potential Start-ups derived from university spin-offs.

- Increased volume of intellectual property licenses and research collaboration agreements with companies.

- Improved quality of services within Innovation Offices, with streamlined and efficient procedures.
