Project Details
Description
This project, MiCRA Gateway, will operate from 2023 to 2029. It aims to enhance the connection between Technological Universities (TU), Institutes of Technology (IoT), and local industries. By leveraging the State’s investment, the program will support personnel within TUs and IoTs to increase interactions with local businesses.
The Technology Gateways will serve as a bridge between industries and research groups, facilitating technical work for client companies. Their role includes:
- Identifying companies with technical challenges that the associated research group can address
- Managing interactions between researchers and industries
- Identifying potential funding opportunities for companies
If a particular research group cannot manage the work, the Technology Gateway will refer the company to an appropriate member of the national Technology Gateway Network.
