Project Details
Description
Digital literacy skills are essential for everyone in today's technologically advanced world. This project is investigating the importance of developing digital technology skills specifically for primary school teachers and students.
The project aims to identify any potential shortfalls in key skills needed by teachers. It will develop various activities, both digital (plugged) and non-digital (unplugged), targeting all learning outcomes at every stage of primary education.
Through Continuous Professional Development, the project also demonstrates methods to differentiate tasks for students and create new resources for teachers to use in the classroom.
Finally, a symposium for teachers is planned after the first year. This event will showcase, record, and measure the impact of these initiatives.
