Blended Learning International Train the Trainer

    Project Details

    Description

The project, which officially began on February 28, 2022, aimed to address the challenges faced by adult educators in the digital era, particularly in blended learning. Without a strategic approach to ongoing training across Europe, many educators had to rely on their own initiative to incorporate digital technologies into their teaching.

While some educators mastered individual online tools, most lacked the skills to transform traditional courses into blended learning formats. They also needed more knowledge to effectively combine online and face-to-face activities, considering factors like learner needs and learning outcomes.

Through this project, adult educators acquired skills to convert traditional courses into blended ones, making them more flexible in terms of time, place, and pace. The main objectives included:

    - Training adult educators to become champions of blended learning and motivate others.

    - Enhancing blended learning skills among adult educators.

    - Increasing the capacity of adult education organizations to offer blended learning.

    - Improving innovative teaching methodologies in adult education using ICT.

The BLITT project focused on empowering adult educators to train others in implementing blended learning. This involved developing and sharing blended learning case studies and participating in joint training events.

The project's main results, including a collection of blended learning case studies and a train-the-trainer course, served as a quality tool for designing blended learning courses. Adult educators documented these case studies through reflective journals and reports, contributing to the project's lasting impact on educational practices.
