Augmented intelligence solutions in EU buildings using Data analytics, an interoperable hardware and software Architecture and a New energy assessment methodology

The Auto-DAN project enabled homes and small businesses across the EU to optimize their energy consumption by assessing the actual energy performance of buildings. This assessment took into account the quality of installed appliances and systems, user habits, and the building's smart readiness. The solution focused on augmented intelligence, highlighting how automation can assist in buildings. It emphasized that cognitive technology is designed to enhance human intelligence rather than replace it, and recognized the occupant as a proactive component of the building.
