Description
This project successfully delivered technology themes through the Gateway to industry, based on discussions with the industrial base and endorsed by an industry steering committee.
The defined technology themes with relevant industry sectors were:
1. **Rapid Sensors for Environmental Testing** (marine and drinking water quality, soil and air testing)
2. **Materials Science** (diagnostics for animal and human health, medical devices, adhesives, biopharma, food and beverage)
3. **On-site Diagnostics for Human and Animal Healthcare** (diagnostics and medical devices)
4. **Agri-food Sensing Technology** (food and dairy industry, animal husbandry)
5. **Bio and Pharma Technology** (biopharmaceuticals, biomining, antibacterials)
6. **Analytical Test Services** (adhesives, biopharma, dairy industry, food and beverage)
These themes were developed to align with industry needs, focusing on enhancing capabilities across various sectors.
