    Description

    The ADAPT II project focuses on both basic and applied research in Digital Content Technology. It integrates additional research activities supported by non-commercial and non-governmental funding. The project addresses several ICT research priority areas, including:

    - Digital Platforms, Content, and Applications

    - Augmented and Virtual Reality

    - Data Analytics, Management, Security, and Privacy

    - Robotics and AI, including Machine Learning

    ADAPT II also tackles the Innovation in Services and Business Processes area by exploring the trustworthiness of AI applications across different sectors, along with the Health and Wellbeing area through new collaborations in connected e-health.

    By addressing these STEM priorities within a single center, ADAPT II contributes to Ireland's goal under Innovation 2020 of becoming a global innovation leader in the digital economy. Building on over a decade of world-class research, ADAPT II is delivering significant economic and societal impacts in Ireland through:

    - Innovative research collaborations with industry

    - Global research across various academic disciplines in Digital Content Technology

    - Effective commercialization and communication of results

    Through responsible development of AI, AR/VR, and data management technologies, ADAPT II provides highly skilled jobs and offers new digital tools and services to help individuals and society manage their digital engagement.
