Research Interests
Ziene is an active researcher who has published widely in Tourism journals focusing on tourism entrepreneurship and regional development. She is currently supervising PhD students on topics related to social enterprise and social entrepreneurs, circular economy and food tourism. She also has experience examining PhDs both nationally and internationally. In addition she also publishes in the area of teaching and learning and was PI for LEAF (Learning from and Engaging with Assessment and Feedback) Team Fellowship project and a team member of the Erasmus+ Next Tourism Generation project.
Research Interests
Tourism entrepreneurship, regional development, social enterprise, innovation, circular and regenerative approaches and teaching and learning.
