Visiting: Several periods at EU Joint Research Centre,1994 - 2004, ESPI and holographic grating research, Department of Mechanical Engineering , Trinity College Dublin, 2001-2, research on electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) systems, Norwegian Institute of Technology, 1992, speckle transducer research, Centro de Investigaciones en Optica, Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, 1989, research on holographic recording materials and ESPI, Konstantinov Research Institute, Leningrad, 1988, holographic diffraction gratings and colour holography.
Supervision 11 MSc and MPhil graduates by research, six PhD graduates. Currently two PhD candidates.
