Professional Information
Patrick Daly is an industry-based professional architectural technologist and sustainable buildig design consultant. He is a leading lecturer on the nested Masters Programme in Energy Efficiency Design - Building Performance, and is the principle investigator on the EU H2020 Drive 0 Project on Circular Modular Construction.
Patrick is one of Ireland’s leading energy and environmental consultants in the Built Environment field and is a practitioner, consultant, researcher and educationalist.
With a background in Architectural Technology and Project Management he has over 25 year’s architectural project experience across a range of domestic and commercial building types/sectors in both Ireland and the UK. Patrick developed a specialization in Energy and Environmental design following undertaking an MSc (Architecture) in Advanced Energy and Environmental Studies and over the last decade has built a diverse and significant portfolio of design, consultancy and research work in this field.
Patrick is passionate about the issue of sustainability and especially in the built environment calling for a radical rethink of our approach to building design in order to ensure a truly sustainable future.
