Dr. Gorji has extensive experience in:

  • Photovoltaic systems, solar cells, and semiconductor devices,
  • Fabrication, characterization, and simulation analysis.
  • He holds degrees in additive manufacturing, electronics, physics, process technologies and project management.

Device Characterization Experience:

  • XPS: Surface chemical composition analysis
  • XCT, CT Scan tomography: Porosity bulk analysis
  • XRD: Phase and warpage analysis
  • Synchrotron topography: Bulk chemical analysis, cracks, strain
  • Nanoindentation: Mechanical testing
  • SEM: Microstructure, morphology analysis

Device Physics Modeling/Simulations:

  • Carrier transport modeling, thermo-mechanical simulations, FEM
  • MATLAB/Python coding, COMSOL, TCAD, Solidworks

Materials Characterization:

  • CdTe, CIGS, CZTS, Perovskite
  • X-ray Imaging, CT Scan
  • Packaged Chips and Synchrotron Tomography
  • TiO2 Photocatalysis Self-Cleaning Coating
  • 3D printing and Powder Recycling
