Moazzam is a multiple international award-winning social entrepreneur, youth and education activist, and researcher. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from the University of Sindh, Pakistan, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Technological University Dublin, Ireland, as part of the prestigious Science Foundation Ireland ADVANCE Centre for Research Training. His research focuses on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Digital Earth Twin technologies, with the aim of advancing the monitoring and implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

With over a decade of experience in the social, development, and education sectors, Moazzam has dedicated his career to empowering marginalised communities in Pakistan. As the founder of The Walkway School, he has worked tirelessly since 2018 to provide safe, affordable, and accessible quality education in rural Pakistan, directly contributing to SDG4 (Quality Education), SDG1 (No Poverty), and SDG10 (Reduced Inequality).

Moazzam is passionate about youth engagement for social change and has a proven track record in leading diverse youth teams, mobilising communities, designing and implementing programmes, and managing fundraising campaigns. His areas of expertise include early childhood education, inclusive education practices, access to education, and adult learning. He is committed to creating equitable opportunities for marginalised groups, particularly in education.

Notable achievements include being an alumnus of Youth Co:Lab, Asia Pacific’s largest social entrepreneurship movement co-led by UNDP and Citi Foundation. He served as Co-Chair for the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), Greening Education, and Education for Climate Action Working Group at UNESCO's SDG4Youth Network (2021-24). He is also a Fellow of the prestigious Community Engagement Exchange Programme by the US Department of State (2022-23), a recipient of the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Award for Excellence in Development Work Special Commendation, and the 2022 Diana Award. Additionally, he serves as a Global Youth Ambassador for SDG4 with Theirworld and a Young Leader with Queens Commonwealth Trust (QCT), and was listed as 30 under 30 Top Tech Innovator in Ireland by Business Post.
