Moazzam is a multiple international award winning social entrepreneur as well as youth/education activist and a researcher. He has a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from University of Sindh, Jamshoro - Pakistan. As part of prestigious Science Foundation Ireland ADVANCE Centre for Research Training, he is pursuing a doctoral degree from Technological University Dublin, Ireland, with a focus on Internet of Things & Digital Earth Twin for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Implementation Monitoring.

Moazzam has been affiliated with the social, development, and education sector for a decade now in Pakistan with a focus on providing value-added services to the marginalized, deprived, and underprivileged communities. Since 2018, he has been actively and efficiently contributing towards SDG4, SDG1 and SDG10. Through his organization, The Walkway School, he has been working on enabling an easy, safe, and affordable access to quality education in rural Pakistan.

Proficient in ensuring youth engagement for social change, Moazzam has expertise and vast experience in leading diverse youth based teams, community and grass-root mobilization, program design and implementation, operations management and fundraising campaign designing as well as management. Early childhood education, access to education, equal as well as inclusive education practices, and adult learning/education are some of his key interests.

He is an alumnus of Youth Co:Lab, Asia Pacific’s largest social entrepreneurship movement co led by UNDP and Citi Foundation. He is a former member at UNESCO’s SDG4Youth Network (2021-24) where he also served as Co-Chair for ESD, Greening Education & Education for Climate Action Working Group (2024). He is also a fellow (2022-23) at prestigious Community Engagement Exchange Program by US Department of State (US Department of State Exchange Alumni). Moreover, he is also a 2023 Commonwealth Youth Award for Excellence in Development Work Special Commendation Recipient and a 2022 Diana Award recipient. Moazzam is also a Global Youth Ambassador for SDG4 with Theirworld and Queens Commonwealth Trust Network QCT Young Leader.
