Professional Information

My research is in the field of interactive multimedia interfaces, including applied AI, computer-supported learning and the use of game technologies. At present I'm focussing on work in Augmented and Virtual Reality, with Ph.D. students investigating biometric measurements of presence in VR, and the development of a theoretical visual communication theory to support more effective interactive design for AR interfaces.
