Professional Information

Marisa Llorens-Salvador is a lecturer in the School of Computer Science in the Technological University Dublin where she teaches modules related to data mining, data analytics and visualization. She was previously employed by the College of Engineering in DIT where she taught engineering computation modules. She holds a PhD in computer science in the area of machine learning and computational linguistics. Her research includes conference and journal papers in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning and bias in intelligent systems as well as engineering education research involving the automation and creation of general models for data analysis.
