Professional Information

Laura has been lecturing in TUDublin on the Sports Management and Coaching degree programme for the last five years. She has a wealth of experience in education having taught at second level and further education in the area of sports coaching and sport science. She completed a Bsc in Physical Education with Biology and then a PhD in the area of cardiovascular health and physical activity. She has a deep sporting heritage having represented and captained her county in senior intercounty camogie for over a decade. Laura was an ambassador for the latest national campaign '20x20' to increase participation, attendance and media coverage of female sport and is currently part of an initiative to develop a national research centre for female sport. She is currently supervising two PhD students in the area of sports coaching and technology.
