Professional Information

Kieran Collins has been an applied practitioner and researcher for the last 20 years. He has worked across a range of team sports. Recently he has worked with Microsoft on a GPS and AI project and with Google on a digital transformation project. Over the last 7 years he has successfully led 2 research centres; the Gaelic Sports Research Centre and more recently the Future Skills Research Centre. There are currently 11 MSc/ PhD students registered within these 2 centres, all undertaking work in elite team sports. The work has generated 116 publications, 80 conference abstracts, collaborations with 9 international universities and partnerships across all levels of elite team sports.
