Dr John Donovan is TU Dublin's Head of Research and is responsible for the Research & Development Support Unit which help researchers apply for and manage funding under national, European and International funding schemes.
My interest is really in how small/new universities can build a sustainable research culture where they are bulding from a non-research intensive background.
In particular, the efficient management and support of researchers to support the professionalisation of the support services and to reduce the non-research admin burden imposed on researchers.
