PROFILE:
Since 2001, Dr. Carswell is Head of Spatial Information Technologies Research at the Digital Media Centre of DIT (Dublin Institute of Technology), Ireland. Previous to this, he worked 8 years throughout Europe as a GIS Analyst for Unisys and a Digital Photogrammetry Program Manager at Intergraph European Headquarters in The Netherlands. His academic background includes a B.Tech in Survey Engineering (Ryerson), an MSc in Geodetic Science (Ohio State University), and a Ph.D in Spatial Information Science & Engineering (University of Maine).
