Personal profile

Personal profile

I am a Marketing lecturer in the School of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and my key area of expertise is in entrepreneurship education and creativity.

Teaching

My approach to teaching is progressive and flexible with an emphasis on creating transformational learning experiences for students. As such I am open to using and developing new and creative approaches to delivery of material both in the classroom and online. I incorporate methods such as, reflective practice, design thinking, flipped classroom, problem-based learning, role play, brainstorming, buzz groups, elevator pitching, peer learning and review and storytelling techniques within my teaching and assessment strategies. In this way I align my teaching practice with the University Education Model and meet the needs of the diversity of students that I teach. I am also actively involved with TU Dublin Students Learning With Communities ( SLWC) programme and the Sustainability Lab initiative, which collectively allow my students to collaborate on Real-World Projects that address UN Sustainability goals.

I also hold a digital badge in Geb AI for teaching and Learning, (2025) from the National Forum for Teaching & Learning

Research Interests

My areas of research interest are Teaching & Learning and Social Enterprise. As part of a recently completed Masters (M.Sc.) in Education  following an academic Innovator pathway, I conducted research on Authentic Assessment, Feedback and Industry Led Student Competitions.

As part of a TUDublin GROWTHhub bursary awarded  in 2023 I upskilled in case research and writing, completing a case writing certificate course at the London business School. Since then, I have written three teaching cases with accompanying teaching notes on social enterprise which form part of my entrepreneurship curriculum.

I also hold  a digital badge specializing in Fostering Excellence in Research Led Entrepreneurship Education. (2023)
