Research Interests
Dr Harry Browne is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Media and jointly coordinates the Centre for Critical Media Literacy. His journalism and research have appeared in many publications, including the Penguin anthology Great Irish Reportage (2013). He is the author of three books: Hammered by the Irish (CounterPunch/AK Press, 2008), The Frontman: Bono (In the Name of Power (Verso, 2013), and Public Sphere (Cork University Press, 2018). He holds a PhD from TU Dublin (2017), an MA from Columbia University (1988), and a AB from Harvard College (1985).
