Dr Gerard Doyle lectures in the Department of Planning and Environment and is the chair of the MSc Sustainable Development.  He has over 30 years' experiecnce working in the community and voluntary sector.

Previously he lectured in DCU, Maynooth University and South East Technological University. 

He has published in a number of international and national peer reviewed journals and book chapters in edited volumes.  

Research Interests

Gerard's research interests are community development, social and solidarity economy, economic democracy and the transition to sustainable communities.
