Geographer with remote sensing and GIS expertise, with 10+ years’ experience in interdisciplinary research focusing on GIS and Earth Observation for sustainable agriculture, LUSII land use and soil inventory, land-soil-water interactions, land cover/use mapping, Irish grassland management, change detection, decision tree classifiers, Eurostat LUCAS, Soil Information System Ireland. Academic background and research expertise accrued in Ireland, Italy, Tunisia, Australia and Romania. Research network across 10 countries; authored/ co-authored several scientific peer-reviewed articles (SCOPUS h-index 6) and other publications, and contributed to 20+ international conferences and fund-raising. SPIE, IRLOGI and EGU member. She worked and collaborated in EU (www.wadismar.eu/) and H2020 projects (www.floweredproject.org/). 1st place-winning team member of “Farming by Satellite Prize” (GSA, EEA, Copernicus) 2018.
