Personal profile

Research Interests

Evin has built up considerable expertise in working directly with clients, assisting them in visualising and understanding the structures and relationships in their projects. He strives to bring clarity of purpose and definition to the projects he undertakes, using his design and communication experience to get the best from the technical, creative and business elements of the project teams. Evin has been working at the DMC as studio manager and user experience designer since 1997 and during this time he has worked on a wide range of projects. These include database driven virtual spaces for the National Gallery of Ireland; Craftopolis - an online educational application in EU partnership; and most recently, developing a Research Information System to combine a relational data structure with workflow approaches to facilitate the DIT research community.
