Research Interests

Interested in multidisciplinary creative and innovative approaches to research and research methods and dissemination. Particularly participatory/contributory research, performance and embodiment, speculative fabulation, sustainable design and human and other than-human relationships and intra-actions. Focussing on recent studies on new materialisms and feminist critical posthumanism, I am interested in examining how the posthuman paradigm, by postulating the queering of identities via the entanglement with other than-human actors, including technology, and by interrogating a multiplicity of epistemologies and modes of existence within a broader ecological context, can foster more inclusive and ethically sound ways of being in the world. Mobilising the framework and methodology of composting-with-care as a pedagogical and analytical tool to foster epistemic diversity, I am working towards demonstrating the importance of combining theoretical concerns with embodied practice to deliver socially and politically relevant scholarship.
