Professional Information

Dr Eoin McGillicuddy is a Senior Lecturer, and Head of Chemical Sciences in the School of Chemical and BioPharmaceutical Sciences, Dublin Institute of Technology where his teaching focuses on physical and environmental chemistry. His research focuses primarily on environmental chemistry, conducting research in atmospheric chemistry, particularly atmospheric aerosols and aerobiology, and novel pollutants, nanoparticulate pollution, in the aquatic environment. Eoin has developed an expertise in a wide range of environmental analytical techniques during his research. Eoin obtained his BSc Hons in Chemistry (2009) and was awarded a PhD, Atmospheric Chemistry, (2015) from the Department of Chemistry, University College Cork. Following the completion of his PhD Eoin has conducted research in University College Cork, National University of Ireland, Galway and Dublin Institute of Technology.
