Dr. Emma Murphy is a lecturer and researcher in the School of Computer Science at TU Dublin. Emma teaches in the areas of Data Management and Human Computer Interaction. She leads research and supervises PhD students in the areas of co-design with people with intellectual disabilities and older adults, accessible health data representations, gender bias and healthcare and accessible and trustworthy XAI. A key aspect of her research is the continuous involvement of end users, particularly those who experience bias and exclusion from technical systems and research processes.
