Professional Information
Dr Michael Moore is a lecturer, researcher and clinical supervisor in the School of Physics, Clinical and Optometric Sciences in Technological University Dublin. Michael is also part of the research team in the Centre for Eye Research Ireland (CERI) where his main research interests are refractive error, myopia and myopia control.
As a clinician Michael specialises in complex contact lenses and sees patients in the National Optometry Centre. Michael is also involved in optometric regulation having sat for five years on CORU's preliminary proceedings committee as part of the fitness to practice process and currently sits as an elected member of the Optical Registration Board.
