Dr. Emma O’Brien is a lecturer and researcher in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Technological University Dublin, Ireland. Emma teaches a variety of modules including entrepreneurship, digital marketing and business communications on both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Research interests

In addition to her lecturing and postgraduate supervision roles, Emma is an active researcher and has published and presented widely. She has research interests in the pedagogy of entrepreneurial education, and is currently exploring how universities can engage with under-represented communities in the co-creation of entrepreneurial education initiatives. Emma is a member of the European Council for Small Business and is a reviewer for several entrepreneurship related academic journals
