DHARMESH DABHI (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, India, in 2012, the M.Tech. degree in electrical power system from the M & V Patel Department of Electrical Engineering, Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), Changa, India, in 2014, where he has completed the Ph.D. degree. He was an Assistant Professor with the M & V Patel Department of Electrical Engineering, CHARUSAT from 2014-2022. Right now he is working as a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering ,TU DUBLIN. His team's proposed optimization methods entitled EVDEPSO and IC-DEEPSO had secured second and fourth ranks in the IEEE PES and CIS sponsored optimization competitions on Evolutionary Computation in Uncertain Environments: A Smart Grid Application at IEEEWCCI conference 2018, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Also, his team's proposed optimization method entitled HL_PS_VNSO secured the second rank in the same competition title name but with more complexity in the problem at the IEEE CEC Conference 2019, Wellington, New Zealand, and the GECCO Conference 2019, Prague, Czech Republic. His research interests include articial intelligence, energy resource management demand response in smart grid, microgrid, and machine learning application in the power systems.
