I am currently work package lead on the European University of Technology Initiative. Prior to taking up this post I was Head of Research in the College of Business at TU Dublin since 2018. Prior to this I worked as a lecturer in strategy and international business and interim associate dean International at the University of Bradford in the UK. I competed my PhD in 2014 on the internationalisation of creative professional service firms. My research interests are in strategy in creative industry contexts and international entrepreneurship. More recently I have led research work funded by the EC on improving management development in small and medium sized enterprises in Ireland and an IRC project on modelling artist portfolio careers.  I also engage actively on research in higher education contexts, in particular connected to innovation, diversity and inclusion.
